Christmas, All Jazzed Up - December 8 2014 - Old Mill
The last concert in Jazz.FM91's Sound Of Jazz Concert Series took place on December 8 2014. The Christmas, All Jazzed Up featuring Ernesto Cervini, Chris Donnelly, Tara Davidson and others was a fun show of Christmas music done in a jazz flavour.
Jazz.FM91 once again asked if I would take pictures of the event and I was there to capture the festive spirit of the event. Blasting through well know Christmas music including a number of songs from Charlie Brown's Christmas and a funny yet very entertaining version of "It's Cold Outside" that had people laughing and truly enjoying the music.
Thanks to Michelle, Jaymz and other JazzFM sound staff and volunteers for making it a very nice evening (the volunteers brought cookies and other goodies, thank you!). Thanks for the cookies Michelle!
I cannot remember what song it was but Tara Davidson almost brought tears to my eyes with a very moving and almost spiritual solo when she was brought up on stage for the first time
