JazzFM Youth Big Band - August 16 2014 - Markham Jazz Festival

I was asked if I would be available to make it out to the Markham Jazz Festival to take some pictures of the JazzFM Youth Big Band on August 16 2014 in downtown Unionville.

Unfortunately (for the crowd) it started raining just as the band got started, but the band managed to put on a great set of classic big band sounds to some modern sounding funky numbers for the wet crowd. The Youth Big Band did a great job despite the conditions and a number of last minute substitutes.
